Models are converted entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded to our servers, and Helium22 Ltd never receives, saves, stores or logs any model, texture, scan or scene you convert. Because nothing is kept, a result that is lost cannot be recovered or re-issued: download it before you leave the page. Please do not process material you are not permitted to use.
Converting between 3D formats is lossy by nature. STL carries geometry only, OBJ export here writes no .mtl, PLY keeps vertex colours but not textures, and rigs, skinning, animations, morph targets and material extensions may not survive every route. Surface options such as the metallic setting are baked into GLB/glTF output. Always inspect the exported file in your target application before relying on it.
This tool must not be used for any unlawful purpose, including the conversion or preparation of models, scans or textures that are illegal to create, possess or distribute, or that infringe the intellectual-property or privacy rights of others — including 3D scans or likenesses of people captured without their consent. Where unlawful use is detected or brought to our attention, Helium22 Ltd reserves the right to refer the matter, together with any relevant information, to the appropriate law enforcement authorities.
